Mr. Ravi Krishnamurthy is the President (Zone I), at SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. He holds key strategic responsibility for functional guidance to all the areas in the company besides overseeing the business and operating. goals achieving of the Northern States – Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, Punjab, J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Parts of UP & Uttarakhand.
He is responsible for ensuring that SBI Life has not only dominant market share in these geographies but also world class quality standards, services and customer centricity.
As a top management functionary, Mr. Krishnamurthy needs to constantly converse with key stakeholders and deliver sustainable high quality leadership.
Before taking on the role of President (Zone-I), He was handling the southern states. Mr. Krishnamurthy was the Chief Operating Officer at SBI LIFE. His role included managing Pan India processes, understanding customers, enhancing service and participating in the company’s policy decisions.
Having worked for over a decade with SBI initially, and then another decade with ICICI Bank in various areas of banking, he has varied experiences and expertise in corporate as well as retail banking.
Ravi has led SBI LIFE to success in various aspects of leadership in the Insurance Industry. Among these is the recent initiative he led for SBI LIFE to win the 2012 Ramakrishna Bajaj National Quality Award & the “World Class” Title in Asia Pacific Quality Organisation (APQO)’s Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA) 2013.
As a person with multifaceted experience, he is recognized as an important thought leader in emerging areas such as Insurance Distribution expansion, Technology and Operating Excellence, Quality in Industries. Ravi is certified by The Indian Institute of Bankers as well as the Indian Institute of Insurance. He holds a PGDBM from NMIMS, Mumbai, in the area of Human Resources. He is certified by The Directors Club; He also possesses a Certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School.
Interests: Marathoner, Yoga Practitioner, deep interest in classical and semi classical music, volunteer with Isha Foundation.

Mr. Puneet heads the Bank’s retail liabilities product function, and is responsible for designing and developing current account & savings account (CASA), term deposit, investment, insurance, payment and priority banking products
.
Additionally , Puneet heads functions such as Customer Value Management & An alytics, Customer Contact Centre , ATM & Branch Automation, Risk Control,Functional Training & Processes and Service Quality.
Puneet joined Kotak Mahindra in Oct 2002 as part of the project team to set up the banking business. He was instrumental in putting together the framework of retail branches including work flows. With the launch of the Bank, Puneet took over as the Regional Head West for retail liabilities & branch banking and led the business to establish its presence across Mumbai, Gujarat and Pune.
A commerce graduate and MBA from the University of Jodhpur, Puneet started his career with Escorts Ltd in 1991. Subsequently, Puneet had a long stint with Citibank and then American Express across various functions like Phone Banking, Relationship Management and Strategic Projects.
